Due to business growth, they are seeking a permanent, full-time Sales Administrator to join their small, dedicated team in Andover.

In this varied role, you will deliver high-quality administrative, sales, and logistics support. You will be central to ensuring efficient office operations, accurate order processing, and reliable multi-currency supply chain workflows.

Sales Administrator Position: Permanent, Full-time

Location: Office-based in Andover

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (with an earlier finish on Fridays)

Salary: £34,000 per year plus generous annual profit-based bonus

Perks & Benefits: 25 days annual leave (rising to 30  for long service) plus 8 days bank holidays. Good company pension and free on-site parking

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Order Administration

  • Enquiry Management: Handle initial customer enquiries and manage orders smoothly from quotation to dispatch.
  • Order Entry: Prepare and issue accurate customer quotations in multiple currencies and input orders into SAP.
  • Invoicing and managing payments.
  • Communication: Liaise directly with customers regarding order statuses, delivery schedules, and general queries.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain accurate, up-to-date sales records and documentation within SAP.

Goods In/Out & Logistics

  • Cross-Training Support: Spend one day per week supporting the goods in/out stockroom.
  • Stock Control: Check incoming deliveries against the stock control system and manage physical inventory levels.
  • Dispatch & Couriers: Pack and dispatch goods while arranging reliable courier services.
  • Customs Coordination: Prepare vital customs documentation for international air freight shipments.

Skills & Experience Required

  • SAP Expertise: Extensive, proven experience using SAP for order entry, quotations, invoicing, and payment tracking is essential.
  • Shipping Knowledge: Strong familiarity with international shipping and Incoterms for purchasing and delivering overseas equipment.
  • Logistics Experience: Practical understanding of moving goods globally, specifically via air freight.
  • IT & Numeracy: Excellent software skills, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel and numerical data processing.
  • Team Fit: Outstanding communication skills with a genuine enjoyment for working within smaller, collaborative team environments.
