So you have an interview?!  How exciting!

When our candidates are offered interviews with our clients, we either have face to face or telephone chats with our candidates to ensure they are confident about the interview process. We are frequently asked about the type of questions they are likely to be asked during the interview and how best to answer those questions.  Some we all struggle with i.e “what are your strengths and weaknesses?”

For the record, mine are:

Strengths: Ability to quote verbatim from Back to the Future http://backtothefuture.com/

Weaknesses: Chocolate and Love Island

Or should that be the other way around? Either way, I doubt those answers would pass an interview…….

As I have written in a previous blog, undertaking research on the company you are applying for is vital.  Equally as important are looking at the essentials and desirables written on the job description and drawing up examples of how your experience aligns.

Here are some popular interview questions and ideas on how to think of the best way to answer https://www.thebalancecareers.com/top-interview-questions-and-best-answers-2061225

Good luck!
