An expanding manufacturing company who specialise in the design and development of bespoke engineering equipment on a global scale now seek a Sales & Support Engineer to join their thriving sales team.
Working as part of the technical sales team, your role to is to generate spares, repairs and service orders to agreed targets. You will be sales savvy, a natural communicator who can engage with clients from all levels and are quick to spot sales opportunities.
Ideally you will have a degree or related qualification and a minimum of 1 years’ experience within Manufacturing Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering. It would be greatly beneficial to have a technical mind-set and ability to read drawings. Full product training is given.
Other key traits we seek from the Sales & Support Engineer are:
- You will be proactive and adaptable
- Excellent communication skills – you build rapport with others with ease
- You have worked within a customer focused role/ technical engineering environment and understand the urgency of customer needs
- Excellent IT skills – experience in CRM software is desirable
- You have worked to targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- You have an inquisitive mind and enjoy learning
- You want to make a difference

Hours/location/salary
Full time , permanent (M-F) 8am – 5pm, finishing at 2.30pm each Friday. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Office based (outskirts of Basingstoke) Salary circa £25,000 – £27,000 per year.
