We are recruiting on behalf of a professional organisation in Winchester for a Receptionist Administrator to join their friendly, down to earth and  welcoming team. Based in central Winchester (with free on-site parking) this full-time position would suit a customer focused individual with administrative skills, who has at least 6 months experience within an office setting. This is an ideal role for someone starting out in their career.

The role of Receptionist Administrator requires full-time hours: 0900 – 1730 Monday – Friday with an annual salary of £23,900, company benefits and the chance to develop your skills.

The role of Receptionist Administrator incorporates a whole range of varied and interesting responsibilities.  These include reception duties: meeting and greeting visitors, answering calls plus  diary management, client liaison, booking appointments and the following tasks:

  • Providing a welcoming front of house service to visitors
  • Answering and transferring calls
  • Diary management for several staff members
  • General administrative duties
  • Dealing with confidential documents
  • Uploading databases, use of spreadsheets
  • Filing/archiving
  • Daily use of word/excel

Essential skills and experience

  • Minimum of 6 months office-based administration/reception experience
  • Strong IT skills
  • High level of accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service experience

Ideally you will be available to commence employment by end of June/beginning of July, live within a reasonable commute to Winchester.
