- Permanent position
- Full-time (Monday-Friday)
- Approx. 3 days per week visiting customers and 2 days WFH
- Salary £44,000
- Quarterly bonuses
- £5000 car allowance
- Mileage (.45p per mile)

You would be joining a smaller division of a global company, working in an autonomous capacity with a dedicated team to guide and support remotely from the UK head office in Hampshire. Our ideal Field Sales/Account Manager will be a fully-fledged area sales person, with an aptitude for understanding and selling technical products. You will be used to working solo and travelling to client sites with the occasional overnight stay. You will be a fantastic communicator who picks up on the smaller details. Strong listening skills, ability to pick up new products with ease and the focus to provide a solution based sale are must-haves.
As Field Sales/Account Manager you will have overall responsibility and ownership of managing key accounts and developing new accounts.
- Account management and customer consultation, engaging with clients to understand their technical needs and offering solutions
- Building strong customer relationships to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Technical Support and providing pre-sales and post-sales support
- Conducting technical demonstrations to your customers and providing product consultations
- Product support to customers and distributors within your area
- Managing the sales process from initial inquiry through to final delivery, including negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company databases
Essential skills and experience
- Area/Field/Territory sales experience
- Manufacturing/industrial or engineering related product sales experience
- Own transport
- You live within the region (Liverpool/Manchester/Leeds/Sheffield areas)
